Hope in SG: Singaporean Companies Looking to Hire

Despite the state of the economy, these Singaporean companies are still actively hiring.

It doesn’t seem so long ago that the Singapore economy was boasting of a robust job market. Today, however, Singapore’s economy has shrunk by 13.2% in Q2 and the country is experiencing its worst recession in 55 years.

But, despite the situation, hope continues to shine and job openings continue to be available as Singaporean companies big and small look to hire for job positions ranging from delivery attendants to software engineers, and from highly experienced workers to interns.

While some of the companies are large and established, you also have smaller firms looking to hire. Many of us may prefer the prior but, when it comes to smaller firms, there are many pros worth considering too. For one, experienced individuals would have an upper hand in interviews. And for those new to the workforce, it could be a great place to start a career with fewer layers of middle management and greater chances for hands-on experience. So, keep an open mind, keep your spirits up and keep looking.
